Today I wanted to share the book "Kindness Makes Us Strong" by Sophie Beer. This is such a perfect book for Pre-K through first grade. It talks about so many ways a child can be kind, help others, and the importance of it. I wanted to share this book first because it is one of my personal favorites and shows that kindness comes in all shapes and sizes.
“Whether you share a toy or rescue an animal, all acts of kindness- no matter how big or small- make our community STRONGER.”
Growing up I always loved volunteering and being able to provide donations in areas I saw a need. Even to this day I constantly want to give my all and push to provide everything I can. While that is a great mindset to have, my mom always reminds me that no matter if you donate 1 item of 1000 they each make a difference in someone's life. The above quote is from the back cover of the book. Throughout the book it discuses small ways kids can be kind and make a difference. My favorite thing about this book is that it also includes that this will make us stronger together!
I would definitely give this book a 10/10 rating!! You can purchase it at your local World Market. I have been able to find so many influential and amazing books there!
