Social Media Challenge: Day 4✨

BRAVE💪🏼

What an amazing year it has been spreading the BRAVE message!! After almost 2 years of virtual learning due to COVID, I was finally able to return in person to speak about BRAVE. I was fortunate to have two speaking partnerships this year with The YMCA of SC and Stone Academy!

We have discussed topics ranging from respect, kindness, inclusion for all, the power of a word and even the path to academic success!! I hope I have had just as much of an impact on these 3,000 plus students as they’ve had on me.

The stories, experiences and vulnerability that they have shared with me has been incredible. I have truly seen these students mature and grow throughout my time with them.

I feel as if I have also grown so much this year as a person, educator, mentor, titleholder and future child psychologist! BRAVE is not just a platform but it is a life changing experience for so many. It has been so special for me to find my own meaning in the platform. It is not just building respect and values or even bullying but so much more. I have created my own spin on BRAVE teaching kids to Stand Up, Stand Strong and Stand Together against anything life may throw their way!

I am truly looking forward to continuing my work with the BRAVE platform! 💪🏼✨
