Stone Academy will forever have a special place in my heart🤍✨

This year I was not only able to have one speaking partnership but two!! This has definitely been the busiest year of my life but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

You have heard me talk about my partnership with The YMCA of SC! This partnership was with one specific school, Stone Academy. I went and spoke to grades Kindergarten through Fifth about the importance of living BRAVE through Standing Up, Standing Strong and Standing Together! I then returned to read “ I Promise” by Lebron James as a follow up.

These kids truly were so incredible! They showed strength, growth, vulnerability, community and so much more throughout my time at SA. Before coming to Stone I was told by the lead director that in some of the older grades they had experienced some severe bullying this year. Well, these kids flourished with the BRAVE platform and I know they will continue to. I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of them!

In moments like these I remember exactly why I want to be Miss Collegiate America and why I came to this organization! I believe in the BRAVE platform and what it does for students. Putting my own spin on it has been so impactful when teaching students to Stand Up, Stand Strong and Stand Together
