Stone Academy 5th Grade BRAVE Presentation!

Wow! This was such an incredible BRAVE presentation. I was able to join the 5th graders at Stone Academy yesterday to speak about the hardships when entering middle school!

Before speaking with this group I had an administrator come up to me and express how much this class has struggled with bullying. Anything from hateful words, body shaming, anonymous mean notes left on desk, fighting and lots of cyberbullying! I really wanted to focus on the impact these actions have on others and allow for them to share how it would have made them feel. I was so incredibly proud of how open and accepting this group was! Yes, they have had there issues with bullying but I can truly see each one of them trying to make a change for the better!

I am so excited to come back and speak with them again very soon! This is what Standing Up, Standing Strong and Standing Together looks like! 💪🏼✨
