Do The Parents See It As Well?

Parents are now at the same frustration level as teens and are here to back up the teachers.
Parents this testing is unnecessary and needed
As you can see in the above diagram, even parents are agreeing and see that these forms of testing are insanity. This is a poll given to parents regarding testing and the effectiveness of it. It is so sad to see that even parents see that the effectiveness of these test are extremely low, 14% to be exact. Gearing in a different direction, you can see that parents were also asked if teachers should be graded or evaluated based on these test scores. A shocking 66% were opposed. As a future educator, I absolute agree with them. These testing scores are based off of one test one day. You can have no way to tell many things that contribute to a childs work ability that day. At the elementary level most children struggle with staying still that long and being able to truly focus to show their full potential. Many high schoolers have jobs, sports and multiple extracurricular activities that can be getting them home at late hours of the night and then on top of that, they still have homework to do when they get home. How many different requirements, test, and assignments can we put on our teens until they break?
